Well, it wasn't a record for our area, but there was enough to snarl traffic and slow plenty of people down during the morning commute. But how much fell Tuesday night into Wednesday morning? Both Faribault and Owatonna totaled more than 3 inches of the white stuff, officially, according to the National Weather Service.

Here are the 'official' snow totals from the National Weather Service:

Cannon Falls - 3.3 inches
Ellendale - 4.7 inches
Faribault - 3.3 inches
Le Center - 3.7 inches
Montgomery 2.1 inches
Nerstrand - 2.9 inches
Northfield - 3.0 inches
NW Owatonna - 4.0 inches
Waseca - 4.2 inches
Vasa - 2.2 inches
Zumbrota - 2.0 inches

The most snow reported was in Freeborn County, where 5 inches reportedly fell in Albert Lea.

You can see an interactive map that shows you snowfall over the last 12-48 hours from the weather service here.

We might even see record cold temps on Veterans Day on Monday.

Bundle up and stay warm.
