Infants Remembered in Silence Seeks Donations for Silent Auction in Faribault

Infants Remembered in Silence is looking for donations of items or services for its silent auction to be held during the pancake breakfast and bingo event scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 8 at the Faribault American Legion.

The breakfast -- pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, orange juice, milk and coffee -- will be served from 8 a.m. to noon. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 2-6. The silent auction will run from 8 a.m. to about 3 p.m., at the bingo break. A bake sale will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. or until it's sold out.

Silent auction and bake sale donations should be dropped off at the IRIS House by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6. Bake sale donations may be brought to the American Legion by 8 a.m. Feb. 8. Be sure to include the following information with your donation:

• who is donating
• what the item is
• value of the item
• whether the donation is made in memory of someone and who

Some suggested donations include:

• gift certificates for goods or services
• Valentine baskets or items
• gardening baskets or items
• bird or wildlife items
• items for youth or youth events
• handmade items such as quilts, blankets, mittens
• unusual items

Bingo, for all ages, will run from 1-3:30 p.m. Winners will receive cash prizes.
