FOX 21's Chief Meteorologist Rusty Mehlberg Shares Weather Recap For December

He also shared that Duluth fell below its thirty-year average when it came to snowfall for December, along with Superior, meaning both cities saw less snow than usual. I felt like we got a ton of snow but maybe that's because the last few winters have been mild so it just seemed like a lot.

Rusty Mehlberg Gives Insight Into January Ahead For The Northland

Are you ready for this? Here's some good news: according to his post and forecast for the month ahead, we can expect a stretch of warm temperatures this month. While cold will return for the second half of the month, we do get a bit of a break from the cold.

The not so great news? We will see quite a bit of snow, which is looking to trend above average this month. As long as we don't have snow and cold at the same time, I think we will be okay. Ha!
