Of course, a snowstorm in January or February is not uncommon, especially in northern Minnesota. It's just a way of life.

What We Can Expect With Weather & Temperatures In February

According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, the first part of the month will be very cold, between February 1st and 6th. Things will turn more mild from the 7th through mid-month, before temperatures turn chilly again for the second half of the month.

In terms of snow, we will see snow for the first six days of the month, with more mild conditions leading to the middle of February. For the second half of the month, we will see a mix of rain and snow. It looks like the weather won't ruin any Valentine's Day related plans.
