The Journey To Making 'Stone Creek Killer' & Local Connections
We all know making a movie takes a lot of time and a lot of money. Robert Enriquez told me a little bit more about the process, sharing that he has been working on the film for two decades and finally felt it was the right time to make it come to life with the right team behind him.
According to Enriquez, over the years, they've had many different actors and places attached to the project. When he realized how 'idyllic' Minnesota was, he realized it was the perfect place for the film and got to work.
The movie was shot in ten days and with a budget of about $300,000, which is not a lot to work with by Hollywood standards. Now, Enriquez says he has his own roots in Chisholm and speaks highly of the small town and people there, who helped make this movie happen.
