Unidentified Aerial Phenomenons (UAPS or UFOS) have been in the news recently. Congressional hearings have been taking place trying to get to the bottom of where our taxpayer money is going for secret organizations covering up the truth. A retired intelligence officer for the Air Force claims that the United States has a secret UFO retrieval program. It's getting pretty wild and it's hard to know what to believe anymore.

Recently, some people in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin reported seeing UFOs flying overhead. They were unlike any planes most people are used to seeing in the area.

The 148th Fighter Wing out of Duluth, Minnesota flies F-16 Fighting Falcons. Those are the military jets most people in the area are familiar with.

However, these aircraft seen were shaped like flying Vs. Usually, there were two of them at a time. I could sure see how someone would think twice about what they just witnessed.

It turns out that these objects aren't from another planet, solar system, or country. They're actually from 15 years ago.

F-117 Nighthawks were officially retired from active service in 2008, according to the Aviationist. But, they are still used periodically for training missions and other testing. The stealth fighters were designed to be difficult to pick up on radar. They were hugely successful in Desert Storm.

Three of the stealth fighters were sent to the 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth to take part in the Northern Lightning training exercise in nearby Wisconsin.

Northern Lightning is a combat readiness exercise that takes place at the Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center in Wisconsin. 60 aircraft and 1,000 service members are participating. It began on August 7 and continues until August 18.
