Superior Taproom + Bar Announces Closure
Sad news for fans of this business. A popular Superior business shared some very bittersweet news on social media on Thursday (January 8th): they are closing this year.
The business was a breakthrough of sorts for the area, as it was Superior's first self-pour taproom and full bar. It was a super fun business and everyone I ever heard talk about it, absolutely loved it!

In other business-related news, a new store is opening in the Miller Hill Mall and sports fans will love it. JD Sports is set to open in the very near future near the food court.
That might help ease the blow of The Tap On Tower closing. Their bittersweet announcement included details on their exact closing date and what we can expect between then and now. Awwwww.

It's never fun when a business closes, especially a local business. According to the post shared to social media regarding the announcement, their last day in business will be January 31st.

Staff also mentioned that Duluth Tap Exchange is not going anywhere and will remain open. They invite all their Superior patrons to make the trek across the bridge for the same self-pour experience and rotating tap selection they loved about The Tap On Tower.

Staff also shared that they will be offering a discount of 25% off taps and half off of merchandise. This is their way of giving back to the community that also gave them so much. I am sad about this! I know so many people loved that spot.
