Minnesota Vikings Announce 2026 Home Game Themes
While we're still more than a month away from the first regular season game, football season is already here.
Training camp activities are getting underway, and preseason games are coming up fast. Before you know it, the September 13 regular season opener between the Minnesota Vikings and Packers at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis will be here.
In the ramp-up to the upcoming season, the Minnesota Vikings announced today the game themes for this year's home games in the Twin Cities.
Not every single home game has a theme, but several of them will feature special uniforms and other elements, commemorating different causes or events.

Here's a look at this year's home game themes:
2026 Minnesota Vikings Home Game Themes
August 22 (preseason) vs. Ravens @ noon: "Play Football" - Purple jerseys/white pants
September 13 vs. Packers @ 3:25 pm: "Classic/25th anniversary of 9/11" - Classic uniforms with classic helmet horn logo, gray facemasks, and design elements from the team's earliest uniforms, including a deeper purple, larger numbers, classic font, and classic sleeves on the stripes.
October 4 vs. Dolphins @ 3:05 pm: "Latino Heritage/Crucial Catch" - Purple jerseys/white pants with recognition of Latino heritage and the NFL's Crucial Catch initiative
October 25 vs. Colts @ noon: No theme, but the team will wear purple jerseys with purple pants
November 9 vs. Bills @ 7:17 pm: "Salute to Service/Ring of Honor" - Purple jerseys/white pants - Adrian Peterson also being inducted into the Ring of Honor
November 29 vs. Falcons @ noon: "My Cause My Cleats" - Purple jerseys/white pants with custom cleats supporting various causes
December 6 vs. Panthers @ 3:25 pm: No theme - Purple jerseys/white pants
December 20 vs. Lions @ 7:20 pm: "Rivalries/NFL Man of the Year" - New Rivalries uniforms will be worn and the Vikings' Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee will be announced
TBD vs. Commanders: "Winter Whiteout/Inspire Change" - Winter Warrior uniforms, including white helmets (like those that debuted in 2024), will be worn
TBD vs. Bears: No theme - Purple jerseys/white pants
