The summer music festival season will be here before you know it, and Wisconsin is home to a wide variety of events. From country to rock and everything in between, there is no shortage of options once the weather finally cooperates.

But one music festival stands above all the rest, and not just within the state. Wisconsin is home to the world’s largest music festival, a nine day event that features more than 600 artists spanning nearly every genre imaginable.

USA Today Puts Wisconsin's Summerfest In The Spotlight

USA Today has once again included Summerfest in its 10BEST music festivals in America voting. The festival has earned recognition in the past, including a strong showing in 2024 when it finished ranked third nationwide.

This year, organizers are aiming even higher. Voting is open now and runs through March 2. The final 10BEST music festivals list will be released on March 11, putting Summerfest squarely in the national spotlight once again.

Big Names Already Announced For 2026 in Wisconsin

The 2026 Summerfest lineup already includes several major names, with Garth Brooks, Post Malone, Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll, and Alex Warren among the early announcements. More artists are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Summerfest runs June 18 through June 20, June 25 through June 27, and wraps up July 2 through July 4. Tickets and multi day packages are on sale now.
