During the holidays, Minnesota can sometimes look like a winter wonderland. Snowmen, Christmas decorations, and of course, pine trees covered in lights and snow, it can make even the grinchiest person's heart grow three sizes. The Hallmark Channel has an online vote going on for the 'Merriest Christmas Town' in the USA, and one Minnesota city is in the running.

Bemidji Could Be The Merriest Christmas Town In The USA

Bemidji is in the running to be the Merriest Christmas Town, according to fans of the Hallmark Channel. According to the Hallmark Channel's website:

"Twenty-five extraordinary towns have been selected as finalists for bringing the spirit of Christmas to life through cherished traditions, joyful celebrations, and a deep sense of community. Now it's your turn to choose the town that best captures the heart, wonder, and magic of the holiday season."

Bemidji's Christmas spirit is on display each year with its Our Night We Light Celebration, which features Santa's Workshop, holiday lights, and more than 10,000 spectators taking in the lit floats and welcoming Santa to town.
