There’s something special about coming home, especially when you’re bringing a lot of laughs with you.

Comedian Jason Schommer, a Little Falls native who has spent years performing on stages across the country, is returning to his hometown this Friday night with his hit show “50: A Totally Rad Comedy!” The one-night performance will take place on Friday, March 13th, at Great River Arts in historic downtown Little Falls.

THIS SHOW IS GETTING RAVE REVIEWS

The show debuted at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, where it received rave reviews and packed audiences, earning an impressive average rating of 4½ out of 5 stars.

For Schommer, bringing the show to Little Falls makes the night even more meaningful.

50: A TOTALLY RAD COMEDY!

“50: A Totally Rad Comedy!” is inspired by Schommer’s own life experiences after turning 50 and finding himself suddenly single, unemployed, and even getting into trouble during water aerobics class. (No Surprise!)

"When life throws you those kinds of curveballs, sometimes the best thing you can do is laugh about it," said Jason.

The show blends stand-up comedy, storytelling, and music into a hilarious and heartfelt look back at growing up as a Gen Xer.

Schommer dives into the pop culture moments that shaped a generation, from classic 80s movies and television to the bizarre fears many kids grew up with, including quicksand, killer bees, and acid rain. Yes! I remember that stuff.

SPECIAL GUEST PERFORMANCES

Joining Schommer on stage is musician JC Lippold, who brings more than two decades of experience as a pianist and vocalist.

The show will also feature special guest comedian Jodie Maruska, a veteran comic who has performed across the country and is known for her relatable humor and “Minnesota nice” style.
