If you have been a fan of the recent 'throwback' jerseys that the Minnesota Timberwolves have been wearing the last few years, you are really going to like where it appears the uniforms are going next year.

Rolling Back The Clock For 2026-2027?

An online NBA uniform X account shared some images today that seem to reveal the Minnesota Timberwolves are going back to the franchise's original color scheme, with a black alternative jersey also coming next season.


 

Embracing The Past, With An Eye On The Future

The possible new look for the Timberwolves would be, in my opinion, a welcome change, embracing the franchise's original color schemes in the white and blue jerseys, but also giving a nod to the KG era, where fans saw a black jersey with the now iconic tree trim.

While this X post isn't an official announcement, the change has been hinted at since the team got new ownership at the end of last year.
