Two of the most iconic Southern rock bands of all time have added a second Minnesota date to their Sharp-Dressed Simple Man Tour: ZZ Top and Lynyrd Skynyrd will help close out the summer with a stop at Treasure Island Casino Amphitheater in Welch on Friday, August 30th.

Tickets are on sale now.

From the Treasure Island Resort press release:

"Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top are bringing the sounds of Southern rock to the Midwest! Celebrating 50 years, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s knack for lyrical detail, down-to-earth honesty and hallmark triple-lead guitars made songs like “Freebird,” “Simple Man” and “Sweet Home Alabama” radio staples. Transcending geography and language with their iconic songs and just as iconic look, ZZ Top still proves they’re true rock legends with “La Grange,” “Gimme All Your Lovin’” and “Sharp Dressed Man.” Hear all the hits when the rock titans bring The Sharp Dressed Simple Man Tour to the Treasure Island Amphitheater for the 2024 Summer Concert Series on Friday, August 30."

The show is outdoors at the amphitheater. It's a most-ages show (12+) starting at 8pm. Tickets start at $49 for Berm general admission and $69 (nice) for reserved seats.

VIP packages start at $279. Meet-and-greets with Lynyrd Skynyrd members Rickey Medlocke and Johnny Van Zant are available for a premium price (definitely not $279).

The 2024 Minnesota Summer concert season looks absolutely stacked. Which shows are you going to? I'm gonna need another side hustle and a LOT of coffee to get through the summer!
