Driver Reports Loss of Consciousness Before Crashing Into Rochester Building
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorist was transported from the scene of a vehicle versus building crash in Rochester Tuesday afternoon.

It’s the second time in three days that a vehicle has struck a commercial building in Rochester.
On Sunday afternoon first responders were dispatched to Marrow restaurant in downtown Rochester after a vehicle struck the southwest corner of the building at the intersection of South Broadway Ave. and 4th St.
The 73-year-old woman driving the vehicle and the individuals inside of the business were not hurt. Marrow has since announced a temporary closure to allow for repairs to the building occupied by the local business.
Vehicle Strikes Rochester Strip Mall on Elton Hills Dr.
Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to the collision around 1:50 p.m. It occurred at a strip mall in the 300 block of Elton Hills Dr. Northwest.
The driver, described as a 79-year-old man, told police he believes he lost consciousness as the northbound vehicle he was driving on West River Rd. Northwest traveled towards Elton Hills Dr.
The Barbershop occupies the space closest to West River Rd. Grayson said the man appeared to be uninjured but was transported from the scene by Mayo Clinic Ambulance for further evaluation.
His name has not been released. No one inside of the building was hurt, Grayson says.
