St. Cloud, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash involving a minivan and a cargo van near St. Cloud.

The collision was reported around 8:20 Saturday morning on Highway 23 about 15 miles west of St. Cloud near Paynesville. The preliminary State Patrol report indicates the two vehicles collided head-on.

A total of five people were in the two vehicles. The State Patrol says three men, ages 25, 26, and the 28-year-old driver, were in the cargo van. Information about the location of their hometowns has not been released. The minivan was driven by a 50-year-old woman from Windom who had a 15-year-old boy from Windom as a passenger. Their names have also not been released.

The State Patrol has also not indicated if there was a single fatality or if the crash resulted in multiple deaths. Information about the medical conditions of the survivors of the crash has also not been released.

The road condition was described as wet at the time of the crash.
