
State Patrol Identifies 89-Year-Old Killed in Crash
Oak Park Heights, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has released the name of an elderly motorist who died following a two-vehicle collision in an eastern Twin Cities suburb on Tuesday.
The fatal crash was reported around 2:15 p.m. on westbound Highway 36 in Oak Park Heights. The State Patrol says the victim was the driver of an SUV that crashed into the back of a pickup truck and then rolled over.
The victim has been identified as 89-year-old Daniel Patrick Powers of New Richmond, Wisconsin. He was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he died from his injuries.

The State Patrol says the 58-year-old Stillwater woman driving the pickup was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
