Pennock, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two Minnesotans lost their lives in a head-on crash on one of the state’s highways Tuesday evening.

Both of the fatal crash victims were in the same vehicle. The deadly collision occurred around 7 p.m. 

The State Patrol responded to the crash on Hwy. 12 in the small town of Pennock, which is about seven miles west of Willmar.

69-year-old Joyce Larayne Nokleby of Benson, MN was identified as the SUV driver. She and her passenger, identified as 83-year-old Llewellyn Reynold Nokleby of Benson, MN, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jeep driver has been identified as 45-year-old Douglas Claire Robinson of Waseca. He was taken to a St. Cloud hospital for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. 

All three of the vehicle occupants were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the deadly crash, the report says.
