Lake City, MN (KROC-AM News)- A man born more than a century ago suffered injuries in a southeast Minnesota crash.

He was one of three passengers riding in a pick-up truck that was involved in a collision with a semi truck. 

The State Patrol responded to the two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Goodhue County shortly before 7:30 Tuesday morning.

102-Year-Old Iowa Man Injured in Crash With Semi on Hwy. 61 North of Lake City

The pick-up and semi collided at the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Staehli Park Rd., which is about five miles north of Lake City

Both vehicles were heading north on the two-lane highway when they collided. The state crash report does not say which vehicle was leading.

76-year-old John Michael Mason of Odebolt, IA as the pick-up driver. The State Patrol says he was not hurt.

Two other passengers in Mason’s vehicle, identified as 52-year-old Anthony Michael Mason of Ida Grove, IA and 21-year-old Cade Anthony Mason of Ida Grove, IA, also escaped the crash without injuries, according to the state crash report.

The State Patrol identified the injured passenger as 102-year-old Robert Allison Mason of Odebolt, IA. He was taken to a hospital in Lake City with non-life-threatening injuries.

59-year-old Joseph Richard Lynch of Chippewa Falls, WI was behind the wheel of the semi. He was not injured in the crash, the State Patrol says. 

Alcohol was not involved in the two-vehicle collision and everyone was buckled up, the state crash report says. 

The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, Lake City Fire Department, Lake City Police Department and Lake City Ambulance also responded to the crash.
