
State Patrol: Three Hurt in Freeborn County Collision
Glenville, MN (KROC-AM News) - Three people were transported by ambulance following a traffic crash Wednesday evening near the Iowa border in Freeborn County.
The State Patrol reports the crash occurred around 6 p.m. on Highway 65, about a mile north of the Iowa border and roughly 4 miles south of Glenville. The three injuries involved occupants of a car that was traveling north when it collided with a southbound vehicle.
According to the crash report from the State Patrol, the driver of the northbound car, 63-year-old Pablo Ramires, and his two passengers, 32-year-old Alfonso Pineda and 31-year-old Arturo Garcia, were taken to the Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. All three are from Albert Lea.
The driver of the other vehicle, 33-year-old James Ness of LeRoy, was not hurt.

The State Patrol says both drivers were wearing seatbelts, but the two passengers in the Ramires vehicle were not. The crash report also indicates alcohol was not involved.
