The preliminary crash investigation indicates Pastrana was driving a car east on County Rd. 34 that struck a pick-up parked on the eastbound shoulder facing west. The driver of the pick-up, identified as 24-year-old Paige Floen, was stopped at her mailbox at the time of the collision.

She was taken to a hospital by vehicle for treatment of what are being described as minor injuries. The Dodge County news release says alcohol may have been a factor in the crash and have asked the State Patrol to reconstruct the crash scene due to the severity of the injuries and potential for criminal charges.
