13-Year-Old Bicyclist Dies in Farmington Hit and Run, Police Searching for SUV
Farmington, MN (MinnesotaNow)- Police in far south Twin Cities metro are looking for a vehicle involved in a hit and run crash that claimed the life of a teenager.

A news release issued Wednesday morning by the Farmington Police Department says the deadly incident occurred shortly before 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The teen died while trying to bike across the highway with another juvenile, police say.
Apple Valley Teen Dies in Vehicle-Bike Hit and Run in Farmington
The deadly crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 50 and Dushane Pkwy. in Farmington.
Police say the two bikers attempted to cross Hwy. 50 when the victim was struck by a westbound vehicle. Bystanders and first responders rendered aid to the teen bicyclist but he was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release says.
Police are describing the victim as a 13-year-old boy from Apple Valley. His name has not been released.
Description of Suspect Vehicle
Farmington police are describing the vehicle as a small black SUV with front-end or passenger-side damage. The vehicle is missing its passenger-side mirror.
Anyone with information on the suspect or vehicle is asked to contact Farmington police at 651-280-6700.
Investigators are interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed the fatality, the news release says.
