
State Patrol: Toddler Taken to Hospital After Crash With Semi Near Minnesota-Iowa Border
An SUV and semi were traveling north on Hwy. 65 when they made contact about seven miles north of the Minnesota-Iowa border, according to the state crash report.
Twin Lakes, MN (KROC-AM News)- A two-year-old girl was taken to a hospital following a crash involving a semi in southern Minnesota.

She was one of three people involved in the two-vehicle collision. The State Patrol responded to the crash in Freeborn County shortly before 7:15 Wednesday morning.

2-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized After SUV-Semi Truck Collision Near Minnesota-Iowa Boarder
An SUV and semi were traveling north on Hwy. 69 when they made contact about seven miles north of the Minnesota-Iowa border, according to the state crash report.
The toddler was riding in the SUV. She was brought to a hospital in Albert Lea with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
22-year-old Samantha Marie Leibeg of Emmons was driving the SUV. She was not hurt.
The truck driver, identified as 47-year-old Matt Joseph Gehling of Preston, also escaped the crash without injuries, the State Patrol says.
Everyone was buckled up and alcohol was not a factor, the state crash report indicates.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office, Twin Lakes Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the two-vehicle crash.
