
Victim of Deadly Motorcycle-Deer Collision in Lake City ID’d

Lake City, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has released the name of the Lake City man who was killed in the crash on Friday after his motorcycle collided with a deer.
The official report on the incident says 29-year-old Spencer Streed was traveling south on Highway 63 near the southwest edge of Late City when the collision with the deer occurred around 11:50 AM. The State Patrol says the motorcycle then crashed into a trailer being pulled by a northbound pickup.
Streed, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were five people in the pickup, including three young children, but none of them were hurt in the crash. The driver was identified as 37-year-old Shamus Ryan of Goodhue.
The deadly crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 63 and Orchard Lane, which is near the entrance to The Jewel Golf Course.
