ST. CLOUD (WJON News) - Wednesday night, join St. Cloud State University as they Journey Around the World.
This showcase features music, dance, and skits from world cultures ranging from Chinese and Korean to Ukranian and Saudi Arabian.
Angie Witte is the Associate Director of Multicultural Student Services at SCSU. She says the event has become an annual highlight.
We decided to host what we are calling “Journey Across the World” in which we showcased about 20 different cultures in one evening. Mostly song and dance, we've got China, Korea, Hmong, Latin American, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Cameroon, India, Bangladesh (and a) few others.
Journey Around the World is a one-night-only show, Wednesday at 7:00 pm, at the Paramount Center for the Arts.
Tickets are available online or at the door.
