Chipotle Is Giving Away Free Food to Minnesotans During the Super Bowl—Here’s When

The final game of the NFL season is coming up on Sunday, February 8th.  Not only do pizza sales go through the roof that day, but the amount people are planning on spending on food, drinks, and decorations for their game-watching parties has increased to about $94.77 per person.

While you are munching on your chips and salsa and yelling at the tv, pay attention to the commercials during the big game.  One company has something extra special planned for you that could help you score a free meal.  Free is good...especially if you are spending close to $100 for that party.  Below is everything you need to know...including a few other food deals happening on Sunday at some of our Minnesota restaurants.

If You Are Watching The Super Bowl on Sunday, You Could Score Free Food From Chipotle

I learned from USAToday.com that the big burrito giant, Chipotle, is giving their fans an impressive freebie on Sunday.  If you love Chipotle and love getting free food, here's what you need to do:

Step One: Get the Instagram app and follow Chipotle's official account (follow me too if you haven't already - @jessicaontheradio)

Step Two: Watch for an Instagram Reel to pop up from Chipotle at some point after the halftime show and before the third quarter of the game.  It will be titled, "The Chipotle Realest 30".

Step Three: Watch for the text-to-claim code in the reel and text that to 888222.  If you are one of the first 100,000 people, you will score a free entrée.

VERY IMPORTANT: According to FoxLA, the reel is only going to be up for about 30 seconds so your window to grab this code is very small.  In other words, if you want free food, skip the bathroom breaks and have someone else refill your bowl of snacks after the halftime show.

Based on the info shared at USAToday, it sounds like you do need to be at least 13 years old or older and this is only valid in the United States.  Sorry to everyone reading this who hasn't quite hit those teen years.
