Free Stuff To Grab in Rochester On The First Day Of Spring

After that last epic dump of snow, I am pretty sure most of us in Minnesota are ready for the real spring to show up.  While I am hoping that the temps stay above freezing...at least until November...I am excited to see the "First Day of Spring" on the calendar.

I love that companies are celebrating spring finally arriving.  This year, it appears that there are two freebies you can grab.

Freebie #1 - Free Cone Day at Dairy Queen

I wrote a story a few weeks ago about Free Cone Day, which typically happens on the first day of spring.  This year, that fun freebie is happening at participating Dairy Queen locations on March 19th.

Freebie #2 - Free Italian Ice at Fuzzy's in Rochester, MN

I just noticed on Facebook another freebie happening this week to start the new spring season.  Fuzzy's Italian Ice, located at 318 1st Ave. SW in Rochester, is giving away a fun treat for everyone to enjoy too.

Have You Heard? New Candy Store Popped Up At The Apache Mall in Rochester

If sweet treats are what you are after, there is another spot that recently opened in Rochester that you might want to visit.  Ok...actually two new spots.  Fuzziwig's has a new location inside of Scheels.  I wrote about this new addition at the Apache Mall a few months ago - see the story and a few photos here.

The second store is near the food court - Midwest Candy Co.  Below are a few photos of the fudge, chocolate, and other sugary treats that they are now selling.
