When you think of Easter candy, which one is your absolute favorite?

Filling up an Easter basket with fun treats and gift has been a tradition for years.  I found out recently that this was started to help celebrate the end of Lent.  Goodies were brought in a basket to church so they could be blessed by a priest.

I haven't seen a basket brought to church in a few years...so not sure if that tradition is still happening anywhere.

I have noticed that some candy during this season have become a bit controversial.  The candy on the Top 10 list below for 2026 are favorites for most of us.  However, here are a few that people seem to have "strong" feelings for:

If you are one of the 25% of people who love Peeps, please shout that out to the world because quite a few of us would love to drop some off at your house.  For some reason, this is still a popular treat to give to people...and 16% of us hate Peeps.

As you browse to find your favorite box of marshmallow bunnies, there is one color that is bought the most.  Blue is the 2nd favorite and once again, Yellow Peeps are the winner.  (Well, until I put mine in the microwave.)

DoorDash Data Shows The Easter Candy Americans Want Most in 2026

Our family is a fan of DoorDash.  If you are one of the 8 million+ delivery drivers working for this company, there is a chance you have been to my house.  I've even had a few of my radio fans show up at my house with my orders lately.

68% of the food being delivered in the United States is now being done by DoorDash.  As all of our orders are being pumped through their online systems, data has been collected on our shopping behavior.  Thanks to all of that record-keeping, DoorDash is enlightening us with our latest trend - the top candy that we are shopping for during the Easter season.

According to Martha Stewart's website, DoorDash based the data above on orders that came in two weeks prior to Easter in 2025.

Since the trend for online ordering isn't slowing down, I'm sure we will see another list come out next year from DoorDash.  In other words, if you want to see a different candy pop up on that list, you'd better start buying in bulk from DoorDash.
