You could be looking for a new spot to take your dog or maybe you're new to town and you need to find your place. Either way, these are the best dog parks in Rochester based on Google reviews.
Stewartville Dog Park
It's not technically in Rochester, but close enough! You'll find the Stewartville Dog Park in northern Stewartville. The park is open dawn to dusk every day and one reviewer writes that there are separate areas for large and small dogs.
Ok, this one is technically in Byron, but it's right outside of Rochester off of 14. You do need to pay for a pass here. $5 for a day pass or $30 for a monthly pass. There's an indoor and outdoor dog park, but you have to have a dog park membership to access the indoor park.
Cooke Park Dog Park
It's a simple, fenced in park, but it does the job in a more populated area of Rochester. There's also a cool playground nearby, so you can bring the human kids, too! You can find it off of 7th St. NW near Old Abe.
Jean and Carl Frank Canine Park
There are paved and unpaved trails at the Jean and Carl Frank Canine Park, along with agility equipment to really get some energy out. You can find it just off of County Road 1 SE across the street from Mighty Oaks Early Learning School.
River Road Dog Park
Finally, the top-rated dog park in Rochester according to Google reviews is River Road Dog Park. One reviewer describes it as a 'beautiful, spacious, and clean park'. It looks absolutely massive, with what appears to be three different fenced off areas. You can find it a bit north of 55th St. NW.
