Minnesota Wedding Venues Stepping Up to Help Blindsided Couples

Just a few days ago, Minnesota couples were devastated, stressed, and infuriated to receive an email from their wedding venue, Circle B in Isanti, saying they were closing, effective immediately. No mention of refunds. And any weddings that had been booked there were no longer happening.

Circle B Wedding Venue in Isanti Suddenly Closes with No Refunds

Couples also had no way of getting in contact with the owners. Here's what part of the email said:

"It is no longer possible to maintain the business in the current economic environment... For many of you, this will been devastating for your plans, for that we are truly sorry. Nobody is available to take calls or emails."

WCCO writes that the owners are Wayne and Angi Butt who also own another wedding venue in Cottage Grove called Furber Farm. Last I checked, that one's still up and running.

Thankfully, there are plenty of great people in the world who are willing to help out the couples who have been affected by this closure.

Wedding Venues Stepping Up to Help Couples Affected by Circle B Closure

Many Minnesota venues have stepped up, raised their hand, and said they'd help any of the couples who are now on the hunt for another wedding venue and have lost out on thousands of dollars.

I'll go through the venues I know about but if I miss any please feel free to let me know! I'd like to be able to provide a list for any of the couples who were affected and need help finding a new venue.

Genesis Ranch in Rosemount

Genesis Ranch posted on Facebook that they have Friday and Sunday openings for May through October this year. They're offering "major discounts and planning services for anyone who had been affected."

Pinewood Events in Cambridge

Pinewood Events reached out to me and said they are here to help couples affected by the closure and are offering couples "an extremely discounted rate".

Rockwoods MN in Otsego

Rockwoods MN shared their full schedule of openings this summer on Facebook and mentioned they work with couples "greatly on pricing".

Stonewall Farms in Willmar

The very generous owners of Stonewall Farms have decided to offer their venue with a freewill donation to the couples affected by the Circle B closure.

Wexford at Emerald Greens in Hastings

Wexford at Emerald Greens is offering a discount up to 75% off "for couples with very near-term celebrations" and it sounds like other discounts are available to other couples who were affected by the closure.
