What would you do if packages that you didn’t order starting showing up at your house? If you’re like most people, you’d probably write return to sender or contact the company that shipped them to notify them of their error.

Kelly Witter from White Bear Lake has received over 140 boxes from Target over the last few months.

She recently spoke with WCCO and said the packages contained prescription glasses: “It was one to two boxes per month and we called and they said 'Oops, sorry for the inconvenience. We'll look into it and we'll fix this.' and it kept happening."

Kelly said, "it turned into three to four boxes per month and we called again, 'Oops, we're sorry, we'll look into this.' Do I need to send it back to you? They're like, 'Nope, it's gonna cost more to send it back. Just forget about it.'"

Target blamed the error on a vendor, apologized for the inconvenience, announced they were donating the glasses to charity, and gave Kelly a gift card for her troubles.

Minnesota’s Longest Drive-Thru Light Show

The Kiwanis Holiday Light Display is free to the public but cash and non-perishable food donations are accepted. All money collected is given to area non-profits. Since opening in 2012 the event has raised more than $500,000 for local charities.
