Beer, Bears, and 90s Beats: The Ultimate Adult Night Out at the MN Zoo
If you're bored with the standard "dinner and a movie" date night, and are looking for away to enjoy the spring weather, you’ll want to clear your calendar for Feast with the Beasts on May 16.
This is an exclusive 21+ after-hours experience at the Minnesota Zoo where the humans and the animals all sit down for dinner at the same time. Check out what's on the menu and how to get tickets for what would definitely be a memorable date, below.

Feasts With The Beasts at The Minnesota Zoo
Starting at 6:30 p.m., you can head to the habitats to watch featured feedings.
You'll be able to watch the gray wolves, brown bears, and moose dining. Zookeepers and volunteers will be on hand at each stop to explain each animals diet.
It's dinner time for you too, so your ticket includes a complimentary BBQ slider (pork or jackfruit) and a mini dessert to get you started, but the full menu is where things get interesting
- Carnivores can head to the Grizzly Coast Café for the Apex Predator Burger—a double smashburger topped with beef birria short rib and red-eye bacon jam. They also have a Triple Threat Corndog featuring pheasant and rattlesnake.
- Herbivores should head to the GRAZE cafe for Spring Rice Bowls with wild rice, blueberries, and grilled tofu, or a Hippie Veggie Sandwich on house-made focaccia.
- Three beer gardens will be set up throughout the zoo, featuring favorites from BlackStack Brewing, Surly, and South x Southeast.
Live Music at the Minnesota Zoo
Once you’ve explored the trails and the Treetop Trail, make your way to the Weesner Amphitheater. From 8:30 to 10:00 p.m., the band You Oughta Know will be playing a set of 90s throwback jams.
