Cabin fever is a real thing, and the majority of Minnesotans combat it by embracing the cold weather and connecting with friends and family outdoors. We bundle up and head outside to socialize around bonfires, enjoy winter sports, or attend unique cold-weather events.

You'll definitely be able to beat back the winter blues with an awesome trip to the Minnesota Ice Festival! Organizers are promising a record-breaking ice maze and several other fun activities at this year's event.

The Largest Ice Maze on the Planet Is Opening Soon in Minnesota

Last year's Ice Maze, pictured below, was impressive, but organizers say the maze that is currently being built, will break the world records and offer a maze experience like never before.

"We're building an ice maze that is twice the size as last season's maze and it's set to break a world record."

The Minnesota Ice Festival will feature several family-friendly activities.

You'll be able to participate in the ice games, watch live ice carving competitions, race down a multi-lane ice slide, and enjoy the onsite skating rink.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be served, Food Trucks will be on hand serving up tasty treats, and there will be bonfires to keep you warm.
