County fair season is in full swing across southern Minnesota. This week, it's time for the Freeborn County Fair in Albert Lea.
The 2023 Freeborn County Fair runs this Tuesday (8/1) through Sunday (8/6) at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds in Albert Lea.
It's six big days of food, fun, attractions, entertainment, rides, music, competitions, grandstand events and more.
The Rides
The carnival & midway, run by Goldstar Amusements has a wide selection of rides and games suitable for the whole family.
- Tuesday: Midway opens at 5:00 pm
$2 ride special
- Wednesday: Midway opens at 3:00 pm
$30 wristband 3pm-10pm
- Thursday: Midway opens at 3:00 pm
$30 wristband 3pm-10pm
- Friday: Midway opens at 12 pm
$30 wristband 12pm-10pm\
- Saturday: Midway opens at 12 pm

The Grandstand
2023 grandstand ticket pricing $15 for ages 13 and up. $10 for kids 6 to 12. Kids 5 and under get in free.

- Wednesday, August 2nd: Mark Wills at 8:30 pm.
- Thursday, August 3rd: Jackson Dean at 8:30 pm.
- Friday, August 4th: Marshall Tucker Band at 8:30 pm.
- Saturday, August 5th: We The Kingdom at 8:30 pm.
- Sunday, August 6th: Demo Derby at 4:00 pm.
