This year I've been traveling the area around Faribault and checking out some of the bigger Christmas light shows that you can take the family out to see. I brought my grandchildren out to the Hoban/Spence Christmas Light Show at 4531 197th St. East and the Forcelle Dairy Farm Light Spectacular at 19041 Eiler Avenue, plus my fun night of Christmas music and lights in Kenyon.

This evening, Bev and I jumped into the van and headed out to the Keller Farm to check out their huge Christmas light extravaganza. This is a Christmas tradition that they have been sharing with the public for years. The farm is about eight miles east of Faribault on Highway 60, turn left onto County Road 24 or Jacobs Avenue, go two miles to 190th Street, then turn right and go about three-tenths of a mile, and you'll see it lighting up the sky. This is an illuminated wonder that you and the kids will really enjoy as you drive through all the different displays set up for your enjoyment. Make sure you look for the festively decorated tractor with Santa at the wheel within all the other seasonal delights. They have a driveway that winds through their many displays, I switched on my parking lights once I entered to better enjoy this Christmas wonderland. Also, please be respectful of their property while you're there.
