Megan Flom, Senior at Winona State University helped guide the Warriors to their best season ever.  She was named the Player of the Year in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).

Flom was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) First Team All-America Team.

The Kenyon-Wanamingo graduate concludes her WSU career as one of the most decorated volleyball players in Warrior history.

This season Flom was named a Preseason Player of the Year, the NSIC Player of the Year following the regular season, AVCA Division II Central Region Player of the Year in addition to the First Team All-American honors.

WSU ranked #10 nationally lost to Washburn in the NCAA Division II Central Regional Tournament in Missouri.  The Ichabods were rated 6th in the nation.

Winona State had their best record ever 28-5.

Flom finished 6th in the nationa in hitting percentage .409, was in top 20 with a 3.97 kills per set mark and 4.73 points per set.

The former Knights performer ends her college career with 1,098 kills, 54 solo blocks, 217 block assists.  All good enough to finish in the top 15 in Winona State program history.

Flom is the first-ever First Team All-American in WSU volleyball history.

In addition to her skills displayed on the court Flom is an outstanding student also.  She received 2021 COSIDA NCAA DII Academic All-District also.

Remember there was no volleyball played in 2020.

In 2019 Flom set a record for efficiency with a .391 hitting percentage ranking 8th nationally, third in the NSIC, 9th in kills, second in blocks, third in service aces.  She led the team with 358 kills.

So in 2021 she broke her own record for hitting percentage and led the team with 440 total kills.

In high school at K-W Flom was Academic All-State, All-State, made the All-Tournament Team at State and two years was named All-Conference in the Hiawatha Valley League.

The 22 year old is the daughter of Brian and Kari Flom of Kenyon.
