Lately my wife & I have been going to a lot of 'Kids' movies like "Frozen" & "Nut Job." We brought my granddaughter to the movie Frozen last week. It was her first movie theater experience & I was glad that I got to be a part of that, as she really enjoyed herself. Movies have always been a magical time for me and I remember the first movie I ever saw, which was "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" and the first theater I saw it in which was The Paradise Theater in downtown Faribault. I remember being surrounded by the castle & looking up at the ceiling and seeing the night sky, at least that what it appeared to be to a 7 year-old boy. It was at this point that I fell in love with going to the movies, along with reading books, they make for a great escape from the world sometimes. This weekend, my wife are hoping to take in the Lego Movie, yeah I know, it's another kids movie but they make me laugh and laughing keeps you young.
