Someone gets a gold star for their creativity and crafting abilities! Lake Chipotle, the unofficial official 10,001st lake in Minnesota, just got a tiny dock and sign welcoming visitors to the viral 'lake'.

The sign is a miniature of a sign you'd see along any of the other lakes in Minneapolis, which says at the top, "Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board" followed by the name "Lake Chipotle". You'll even see at the end of the dock a tiny fisherman sitting with a line in the water.

For those unfamiliar with the lore of Lake Chipotle, it all began after a TikTok video surfaced, zooming in on Minnesota and getting to the Chipotle on Hennepin, then tagging it as Lake Chipotle, followed by a trip to a website highlighting all that Lake Chipotle offers.

From there the 'lake' now has a Facebook page and Twitter handle. While the lake is tongue and cheek, it has taken on a life of it's own with various online users and organizations following and reporting on Lake Chipotle, even going so far as to record what is going on at the lake.

The parking lot at Chipotle will probably be lakeless with road construction being planned along Hennepin in the near future, so get out to the lake while you can, and more than likely while it lasts.
