Lanesboro Teenager Killed in Crash Near Preston

Preston, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Lanesboro teenager was the victim of a rollover crash Saturday night in Fillmore County.

Sheriff John DeGeorge says deputies responded around 10 PM to a report of a single-vehicle crash. It occurred along Fillmore County Road 12 about a mile east of Highway 52 about 2 miles southeast of Preston.

The first deputies to arrive at the scene found a man unresponsive in the driver's seat and administered life-saving measures until emergency medical technicians arrived and took over. Despite their efforts, the 19-year-old Lanesboro man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name has not been released and the crash remains under investigation.
