Strong to severe storms could make their way through SE MN and the surrounding region with the possibility of large hail and damaging winds.

According to the National Weather Service in La Crosse, the severe storms could make their way through the region by Tuesday afternoon and into Tuesday night. This could affect your commute home from work, especially if you take Highway 63 southbound, south of Highway 52 as construction is set to begin today and it will go down to a single lane.

Here is what the NWS is predicting as of Monday morning around 6 am.

As you can see, all of SE MN, NE IA and Western WI could have a possibility of the large hail and damaging winds. You can stay up to day on our website or by downloading our app with the latest weather forecast.

Make sure you stay weather aware and follow along with what could be a pretty nasty storm across the region. It looks like we will continue to see warmer weather the next few days as well as we kick off fall.
