Less Work

We finally closed on selling my father-in-law's house last night & what a nice relief. It's been up for sale since mid-summer & after spending the months removing & finding homes for all the possesions, doing a little cleaning & painting, we finally found a buyer at the end of November. After a postponed closing at the end of December we finished the deal yesterday. The reason for my relief is that it's just another responsibilty I can finally shed. After years of mowing two yards & shoveling & snowblowing two driveways, I'm finally down to just mine. Anybody who has been charged with the care & upkeep of two properties can understand where I'm coming from.
