Looking For Great Rock? Mike’s Got The Answer

The Answer-Rise

There's a certain satisfaction in discovering a band you've never heard of before and then sharing them with others. One of those bands is The Answer. I was introduced to these guys by former announcer Derek Evans several years ago. He saw them open for AC/DC and came back to the station the next day and suggested I check them out for myself. I did and was hooked.

This rock band from out of Northern Ireland runs the gamut of blues rock to hard rock and effortlessly melds the two seamlessly together, all while keeping a fresh raw sound to their music. Formed in 2000, they've released six studio albums, two live albums and countless singles and EPs over the years. Their live album 412 Days of Rock 'n' Roll comes with a DVD that features the band's tour as an opening act for AC/DC during their Black Ice World Tour.
