Man Arrested for Stealing from Kwik Trip… 23 Times!

I don't know how anyone could steal from Kwik Trip. Their employees are so nice, it'd be like stealing from family. A Wisconsin man was arrested Monday for doing just that though. Police say Karl Kinyon has pumped gas and left without paying nearly two dozen times and owes Kwik Trip approximately $800.

According to the Herald Times Reporter, police tracked Kinyon down after his most recent gas theft and when they asked why he did it he said, “he was in a hurry to get to court, and didn’t pay for the gas.” No word on what his court appearance was for, but I'm sure stealing isn't going to help his case! Although, Kinyon doesn't consider it stealing. According to the police report, he said he has a “layaway” system with Kwik Trip and “always pays for the gas, eventually.”
