Friday evening my daughter and two of my granddaughters decided to visit us for the weekend. I always look forward to and enjoy their visits. We usually play board games, watch their favorite TV shows, play with dolls and the dollhouse and spend time playing outside.

On Sunday we decided to take them to Disney on Ice: Dream Big at the Target Center along with my son and daughter-in-law and my grandson. We got there a little early so we could get situated in our seats and grab some food and so the kids could pick up some of the Disney on Ice toys. After that we were broke but that was OK because the show was about to start.

The show ran through numbers from Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Little Mermaid, Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast and more. Of course the big finish was several songs from Frozen, the Disney movie that is still very popular with little girls and boys. We saw a lot of tiny Annas and Elsas roaming the hallways when we got to the Target Center. The show itself lasted about two hours and kept the children's attention the entire time and they had a really good time. They could hardly wait to go to the next Disney on Ice show that comes to town. That means Grandpa had better start saving his money today!
