Well, we've been hearing about wearing a mask for 10 months now.  Hands up- who's sick of this??

Then recently, because of the new strain of the virus that has popped up, the MDH has recommended wearing 2 masks.  I'll just go out on a limb right now and say that there is no way I'm doing that.  I have complied with pretty much everything up to now, but that just seems ridiculous.  But check this out.  There is a company which is a spin-off from the U of M called Claros Technologies.  And they have created a single mask that not only protects from the coronavirus, but apparently it kills the virus.  Now, that's interesting.

"I think it's a great technology," said Mike Miller, the president of The Airtex Group, Claros's textile manufacturing partner. "Candidly, I think it's a game-changer."

"The mask is, we basically created a new textile that has anti-viral properties," added Abdennour Abbas, the company's co-founder and an associate professor at the U of M.

I really find this kind of a "too good to be true" situation.  But maybe I'm just being cynical.  I get that it could actually be something that would block the virus, if worn correctly.  But to actually "KILL" the virus. Let's just say I'm more than a bit skeptical.  But I'm also willing to see how it works and give them a chance to show how it does, in fact, kill the virus.

"We started partnering with the DOD, for example, developing functional textile solutions for different military-grade applications," Bellanca said. "It was from that work that the anti-microbial, anti-viral functionality was born."

Ok, show me.  Sounds like a line from the "Matrix".  But yeah, do that.
