The Associated Press HIgh School Football Rankings did have some movement but not at the top in each of the seven classes in Minnesota.

The top ranked team in each class stayed the same.  Class 9-Man, Mountain Lake Area, Class 1A, Mahnomen-Waubun, Class 2A, Blooming Prairie, Class 3A, Pierz, Class 4A, Hutchinson, Class 5A, Mankato West and Class 6A, Lakeville South.

In 9-Man, Lanesboro, Spring Grove and Leroy-Ostrander are southeast Minnesota teams among the ranked.

Class 1A, Bethlehem Academy received votes, Rushford-Peterson and Mayer Lutheran are among the state's elite.

Class 2A, Chatfield, Lewiston-Altura, Triton, Maple River and Goodhue are mentioned.

Class 3A, Cannon Falls moved up a notch to #2, Lake City is now #3, Plainview-Elgin-Millville #7, Waseca #9.

Class 4A Faribault dropped into receiving votes while Stewartville jumped to a tie for #5 with Fridley.  Kasson-Mantorville and Winona are in the top 10

Class 5A Rochester Mayo moved from 9th to 6th.

Class 6A Rosemount is #2, Shakopee #4, Prior Lake is #10 and Lakeville North received votes.

Faribault Bethlehem Academy travels to Harmony to play Fillmore Central Friday night while the Faribault Falcons have their Homecoming battle with Red Wing at Bruce Smith Field.

The Homecoming contest is on POWER 96 Radio with coverage beginning approximately 6:454 p.m.

The featured KDHL game Friday is also a Homecoming affair when the Cannon Falls Bombers hosting Zumbrota-Mazeppa.  Randy Sobrack is on the call beginning 6:45 p.m.
