Minnesota State Patrol Responds to More Than 1200 Crashes

It appears that Minnesotans are still not very good when it comes to winter driving, as the State Patrol responded to nearly 1200 crashes in the last 24 hours.

As of this afternoon troopers responded to 559 crashes, plus another 532 spinouts and 21 jack-knifed semis.

Keep in mind, that's just the State Patrol -- and doesn't include local police and sheriffs' departments.

The best advise in these situations and conditions from officials is usually; do not travel unless it's absolutely necessary.
