Minnesota Vikings fans are very polite, and not very rowdy, according to a pair of surveys. I imagine that head coach Mike Zimmer might not agree with that when the crowd at U. S. Bank Stadium reacts to a perceived error in time management. And I can only guess what quarterback Kirk Cousins thinks when paying guests share their displeasure to a completed four-yard pass on a third-down-and-seven.
But surveys don't lie. Well. I guess that could be debated too. In any case, the folks at USbets.com found Viking fans were the second most likely to break up a fight. Seattle Seahawks fans was tops on the list. Philadelphia Eagles fans and Las Vegas Raiders fans were most likely to start a fight. Anyone surprised by that?
Meanwhile, a separate study with bookies.com found that Minnesota fans were the fourth least rowdy across the league. Philadelphia was tops on that list too. Vikings fans might need to up the ante for the Sunday, November 21 clash with the Green Bay Packers.
HOW MUCH FOR VIKINGS TICKETS?
Furthermore, the bookies.com people found that a Vikings ticket on the secondary market costs an average of $262, more than double the average price of the ticket at face value of $108.79.
VIKINGS DEFENSE GETS HEALTHIER FOR SUNDAY
Now for some actual news, the Vikings secondary will be bolstered with the return of safety Harrison Smith and cornerback Patrick Peterson. Smith was cleared from the COVID list according to the Star Tribune, while Peterson is back from injury.
