f you get your groceries from Walmart, you'll want to take a closer look at your produce.  There is a widespread voluntary recall on fresh organic zucchini sold at Walmart stores - including those in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

According to details shared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, World Variety Produce, Inc. in California has issued a voluntary recall on case lots of their organic zucchini due to salmonella contamination concerns.  The fresh zucchini product is packaged and sold under the Organic Marketside brand name and labeling at Walmart stores nationwide.

The recall effort was issued by World Variety Produce because a single lot of their organic zucchini tested positive for salmonella as part of a routine sampling done by the Food and Drug Administration.  That positive test result caused the company to recall the produce under an abundance of caution.
