Monday Morning’s Commute Is Slick Which Is Leading To Accidents
Most of SE Minnesota wound up with some snow, in the Faribault-Owatonna area there was about an inch to an inch and a quarter on the ground. The snow on area roads has lead to a slick morning commute in some areas, especially North of Faribault on I-35 heading to the Twin Cities.
Checking out the 511mn.org page this morning roads to the West of I-35 were more likely to be what MnDOT calls completely covered in snow rather than East of I-35 where the roads are only partially covered.
If you can leave a few minutes early in case you come across a spinout or crash on your way to work. You can also check the weather and road conditions on our free app.
This snow is just the first we are expecting this week, with more snow predicted this evening into tonight and more possible on Wednesday.
