Music, Art and Breakfast To Take Over Southern Minnesota This Weekend
As winter slowly disappears into our rearview window and the cold weather disperses, it's time to start thinking about getting out of the house.
Luckily, Owatonna and some surrounding cities have numerous events happening to embrace the arrival of Spring and the idea of normalcy after two years of the never-ending pandemic.
Things To Do In Southern Minnesota This Weekend
Jam Out At The 2022 Hometown Sampler Concert Series
The Hometown Sampler is an iconic regional event that marks a weekend of performances featuring talented local musicians. The proceeds from the event support the Steele County Food Shelf (now known as The Marketplace).
With that being said, the admission to the fun event is a monetary or food donation of your digression.
On Tuesday, two members from Turn the Page and Bad Tangerines performed a tiny sneak peek at the KRFO studios. Check it out.
To enjoy more great songs like this one, head on over to the Little Theatre of Owatonna Friday, March 4th at 7 pm, Saturday, March 5th at 3 pm or 7 pm, or Sunday, March 6th at 2 pm.
Catch The Last Weekend Of The Addams Family at the Owatonna High School
Those in the area have one final weekend to watch "The Addams Family" at the Owatonna High School. The final two performances are on March 4th and 5th at 7 pm.
Those interested in seeing the production can buy tickets here. (There is an online-streaming version available as well.)
Finish Off The Weekend With Breakfast At The Claremont Fire Department
As you can see above, the annual Claremont Fire Department Relief Association Breakfast is this Sunday, March 6th, from 9 am to 1 pm.
The donations all go back into the department.
